    8 pointer taken @ 296 yds (lasered) frontal shot, cold bore. he has a 18" spread and dressed out 175 lbs., not huge
    but a nice Kansas buck.

    Lucky, we are only allowed to use muzzleloaders or bows in my state. I see your allowed to use rifles in Kansas?

    Trust me...We will eat it and the doe I got. We LOVE venison, plus thinning the herd is a healthy thing and keeps them from getting hit by cars.

    I'm, against animals being killed for no reason. As long as you eat it or sell it to someone else so they can eat it I'm fine with it.

    only for 12 days. In Texas rifle season is from 1st weekend in Nov. to 1st weekend in Jan.

    Dido. By the way nice Rifle. I just use some old lever action rifles for deer and a break action single shot shotgun for small game.

    this is a Sako .260 with a custom 26" barrel and a Leupold 4.5-14 X 40mm VXIII...I LOVE my Rifle!! It shoots .5 MOA all day long.
