Some of you guys there either don't or can't have CoD (like me, pesky over-authoritive parents). There are some other shooting games out there we can still practice in tough.
Warhawk
Being one of the first games to break the 32 player barrier, Warhawk still remains one of the most played games on PSN. The large maps and battles make it a great place to practice large-scale battles. There's a very healthy selection of vechiles and weapons, so don't worry about a lack of basically anything. There are no classes, so you can become an assualt man, to a sniper in basically the push of a button, and then have an RPG the next. It's $30 at the PSN store, and a lot cheaper used in game stores.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta
I knowm you CoD fanboys are gonna go beserk all of this game (and due to the fact I like this one better than CoD ...oops I'm hated now ). Altough the game rotates the same way, map, and teams (it's a beta what did you expect) it still provides great practice on FPS, recoil control, realism, teamwork, and...shooting down buildings. It's 24 player online (skimpy compared to the 256 about to come up), but still provides a good sense of climatic and intense battle. There is a class system in here, each of them equally important, Assualt, Engineer, Medic, and Recon.
Post up your games and I'll set up training dates.
