Combustion is the right choice, I work with near brain dead/injured everyday and its no way to live, burn em up I say.

I think i would have to go with the nails....once it's done, ur tounge will heal and the pain won't last forever. Permanent urine saliva would just be absolutely horrible lol.

That is a near impossible one to answer... I think I would have to say have alcohol go illegal, music is in everything, TV, movies, adverts, while driving, flying, running... But life without booze...

I'd rather be able to freeze and unfreeze time, it'll be like being invisible and fast.

That's an interesting one. If you lived in Stalingrad in 1943 (and had lived through since 1942) you would have lived through a battle that lasted over 6 months leaving most of the city in ruins and double the civilian dead and wounded that during the battle for Berlin in 1945, however the Russians did win the battle and eventually the war. If you lived in Berlin in 1945, you would have lived through a battle that only lasted 2 weeks (a fraction of the time the battle of Stalingrad lasted), left 20,000 odd civilians dead (half that of Stalingrad) but you would probably be German and about to lose the war. Either one would not be good but I would have to say Berlin in 1945 as many Germans were happy the war was over, but I would have wanted to be out by the time the Berlin Wall went up... (gotta love Wikipedia)

Seeing as I know (and I don't mean just acquaintances, I mean good friends and family, the sort of people you invite to your wedding) well over 100 people, that is a no-brainer, as the numbers just make sense, but to be honest, I would sacrifice 1,000's, 10's of 1,000's and possibly more total strangers to save certain people I know.

Assume your talking American football as opposed to English football, so I would say basketball as less risk of injury and possibility of a longer career (guess that depends on your position in football (American football that is)PS, if it had been English football, my answer would have been football as would love to play in the upcoming World Cup!
