Operation Flashpoint... anyone else get it?

looking for some familiar people to play Co-op with.

by the way, it's a great game if you love the ultra realistic gameplay.
if you are more of a CoD gamer... well you might not like it.

as for myself, well i can play and like a large variety of gameplay speeds and mechanics in shooters, as long as they are done right and work well.
so you might also like this if you enjoy variety in your shooter library.

it didnt get good reviews, so i dont think im gonna get it, for now

well for a realistic feel to a military shooter, the game does a great job of accomplishing this. even though i really like the game because of it's realism, i can definitely see how some people (and reviewers) would find it hard to play and aggravating at times.

like i said, if you like realism, get it.
otherwise it's probably not your cup of tea.

i was thinking about getting it. it looks pretty tight. i do like the strategic, realistic, and freedom of the game. i not sure though. it might just have to wait

thats waht i thought, but i looked at the reviews and i think ill jsut wait, when i do get it it'll be for the PC anyway

i love realism... and to me, thats what COD4 is.
NOW, i know its NOT realistic, but the story is the realistic part.... it could happen....
and also, this game just aint good lookin... at all.

umm wtf yes it is.

i will wait for the MP demo later. but even if i liked it i would end up getting for computer because of 32 player online

i know it is to you and many others, but this game aint got much what i like... LOTS OF ACTION!!!!! it does have action. but not as much not as thrilling as CoD4

im just really more of a CoD guy...i like all good shooters, like Socom's, Black ( PS2), CoD's, Resistance, mercenaries, Rainbow Six Vegas.... and so on, but as i stated This game dont appeal to me.... but Uncharted 2 does Now

i wasnt planning on getting U2 untill i saaw soom stuff on it on X-Play, then got U1 and was amazed

when i heard of U2... STUPID!!!!!! but now.... MUST BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i watched the U1 cutscenes and stuff on youtube, so i'm all caught up

i have been waiting for U2 ever since the first one. i pre ordered the first one and i loved it. i cant wait for tomorrow.

i wont be getting it till christmas, the only other thing im getting is either SvR 2010 or Borderlands

Realistic shooter? Sounds like something I should try.
Too bad I already reserved BFBC2 tough, I'm out of dough.

I loved the first OF on the PC called Cold War Crisis, so I did minimal research and bought Dragon Rising on release just based off of what I knew about CWC...big mistake, although it is the closest any console game has come to realism in a military sim, it has/had so many bugs and AI issues that it is frustrating. The box and pre-release videos say a "sandbox" shooter and lead you to beleive that you can roam anywhere and run into random enemies on a huge map. A straight out lie....the map is huge, but all missions are either timed or only allow you small areas of the map...many AI issues...and the multiplayer is almost unplayable....it's a crappy P2P connection where you'll notice that the host is the one with all the kills while the other players pump 2 clips into enemies....also only 2 maps...thats right 2....you should certainly check the forums and read up on the complaints...if you want realism and "sandbox" I'd say go with ARMA 2 on the PC...
